About Danish artist CAT RAVN

 

CAT RAVN is a Danish artist, who currently works with ceramics, paintings and graphics.

She was born and raised in the northern parts of Zealand with the forest as her backyard, and nature, especially trees, has always had a great influence on her life and art. After living in colourful cities in India and Australia, today, CAT RAVN lives and works in Frederiksberg with her dog, Rosa.

The passion for nature and animals is evident in some of her works and her interest in cities, especially Copenhagen, characterizes the colourful graphic prints and posters in the series CPH Colours.

CAT RAVN grew up in a home with a great passion for Danish design. Therefore, it is important for her that the works shows good craftsmanship and at the same time play a harmonious role in the interior design of her customers’ home or business.

Whether her art is based on current topics such as animal welfare, environment and climate, she always strives to create colourful and optimistic works that express the world’s diverse beauty.
